Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Assistant Professor in Regional and Urban Planning within UCD School of Architecture
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the planning unit at UCD. We welcome applications from outstanding scholars who can either consolidate and deepen our current institutional specialisms or expand our expertise into emerging, innovative fields. Areas may include but are not limited to: Major Infrastructure Planning and Delivery; Energy Planning and Climate Change; Spatial & Environmental Justice; Smart Cities & Digital Technologies: Sustainable Mobility & Transport Planning; Housing Dynamics; and Urban & Regional Economic Development. The successful candidate will deliver and develop curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate planning programmes, including PhD supervision and will develop an internationally renowned research profile through high-impact publications and major external grant acquisition.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
