Candidates must have a strong commitment to medical education, which will include teaching in the UCI School of Medicine and precepting medical students in clinic, as well as participating in the education of Family Medicine residents and primary care sports medicine fellows. Duties and Criteria for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; demonstrate professional competency and activity; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service. Desired Skills: Procedural competency (musculoskeletal injections/procedures, sports ultrasound, family medicine ambulatory procedures). Team physician and event coverage experience.
