The Opportunity 

The University of Newcastle Research Excellence Fellowships aims to attract, support and empower world-class researchers.  

This prestigious program will accelerate innovation, collaboration and excellence by welcoming Fellows into strong research teams with demonstrated ability to nurture the next generation of research leaders and deliver outcomes that matter. 

The University will offer up to six (6) Research Excellence Fellowships to join one of our world-class research environments. 

About the Role  

The Fellowship includes a Level B-D academic salary for four years, with the fourth year subject to performance, and a one off $50,000 in start-up funding. There is an expectation that the Fellows must submit competitive fellowship applications within the first 12-18 months in the role.

About the Centre for Innovative Energy Technologies (CINET) 

CINET brings together interdisciplinary researchers from across the University to advance clean energy innovation. Fellows access world class labs, pilot scale facilities, workshops, and advanced instruments, and are expected to develop and help deliver cutting edge clean energy solutions.
