Utility Worker

Position Summary

Performs day-to-day duties in operations of cleaning, supplying tables/chairs, moving furniture, transporting supplies and equipment; setting up and breaking down of Athletic competition equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work nontraditional hours to include some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

• Squatting, standing for long periods of time, lifting a minimum of 50lbs or more with other team members, follow directions verbally and written, and driving as needed to perform job duties.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, blow and/or pressure wash athletic sports stadiums using proper equipment. (25%)
• Wash windows, walls, trash cans, and glass doors. (20%)
• Assist with set up and break down of Athletic equipment used for competitions. (25%)
• Pick up trash in and around Athletic facilities prior to and following Athletic events; dispose of trash. (20%)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. (10%)
