Required Qualifications - Appropriate teaching experience and/or strong oral presentation and communication skills. -Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. - Demonstrated skills and experience in one or more areas of expertise in Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Yoga, Screen Dance, Composition, Choreography and other relevant areas. Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Dance, Choreography, or a related field, or BFA with equivalent professional experience and training that equates to a terminal degree in the field. - Willingness to teach in both in-person and online formats. - Willingness to recruit as needed, assist with semesterly assessments, and help support the Dance and Choreography department’s vision and student growth.
