WHAT YOU'LL DO
Under the general direction of the Vice Chancellor, Institutional Effectiveness, plans, organizes, supervises, administers, and evaluates a broad set of activities pertaining to the Regional Collaboration and Coordination Grant which includes eight (8) community colleges and respective high schools, including coordination of regional initiatives, managing partnerships, ensuring fiscal accountability, development of emerging industry curriculum across our regional partners, oversight of curriculum alignment, ensuring academic integrity and compliance of all career education and instructional programs, and supporting implementation across participating colleges.
There is one full-time assignment located at the District Administrative Center in Camarillo, CA.
Representative Duties
Provides academic leadership and vision to strengthen and implement career, technical, occupational, and transfer programs, ensuring alignment with regional labor market demand, the California Community Colleges Vision 2030, and the priorities of the South Central Coast Regional Consortium SCCRC. E
Leads the planning, development, and evaluation of instructional programs through shared governance processes, working collaboratively with faculty, deans, and staff to ensure programs are academically rigorous, equitable, and responsive to student and regional workforce needs. E
Supports the development and implementation of externally funded initiatives, including regional and state grants, ensuring that grant activities are integrated into the instructional program, aligned with curriculum, and consistent with faculty roles, collective bargaining agreements, and academic standards. E
Participates in regional coordination efforts through the SCCRC governance structure, representing institutional instructional priorities while respecting the faculty's primary role in curriculum and academic matters. E
Assists in the development and management of the budget, integrating multiple funding sources including general fund, Strong Workforce, and grants to support academic programs while maintaining transparency, compliance, and alignment with institutional priorities. E
Ensures academic integrity and compliance of all instructional programs with Education Code, Title 5, accreditation standards such as ACCJC, district policies, and collective bargaining agreements, in collaboration with faculty and academic leadership. E
Oversee curriculum development, alignment and review, as well as our articulation processes in partnership with Vice Presidents, Deans, and faculty, ensuring alignment with transfer institutions, industry standards, and regional education partners. E
Coordinates and prepares timely, accurate, and comprehensive instructional reports required by federal, state, district, and college entities, including those associated with grant funded initiatives and regional accountability metrics. E
Uses institutional and regional data, including labor market information and student success metrics, to support program review, enrollment management, and continuous improvement, with a focus on closing equity gaps. E
Supports the integration of work-based learning and career pathways into instructional programs in collaboration with faculty and regional partners, ensuring these experiences are instructionally sound and aligned with course and program outcomes. E
Assists in the recruitment, selection, development, and evaluation of faculty and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures; promotes professional development that supports instructional innovation and regional alignment. E
Promotes the effective use of instructional technologies and data systems to support teaching, learning, and program evaluation; utilizes technology to enhance reporting, planning, and communication. E
Develops and supports dual enrollment, articulation, and matriculation efforts in collaboration with faculty and educational partners, ensuring academic quality and alignment with college standards. E
Builds and sustains strategic partnerships with K-12 school districts, administrators, counselors, and teachers to expand dual enrollment opportunities, align curriculum, and strengthen seamless college and career pathways for student. E
Engages with faculty organizations and participatory governance bodies, providing leadership while honoring the principles of shared governance and the faculty's primary responsibility in academic and professional matters. E
Serves on college and district committees, management councils, and regional consortia, representing instructional interests and contributing to coordinated planning and decision making. E
Establishes and maintains partnerships with business, industry, and community stakeholders to inform program development, while ensuring that curriculum and instruction remain faculty driven and academically sound. E
Maintains current knowledge of emerging instructional practices, technologies, and workforce trends to support innovation and continuous improvement in academic programs. E
Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned employees, set performance requirements and goals, monitor and coach for improvement, promote excellence and customer service, and take disciplinary action if needed according to District rules. E
Work collaboratively and professionally with faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, and ethnic communities. E
Demonstrate cultural humility, sensitivity, and equity-mindedness in working with individuals from diverse communities; model inclusive behaviors; and achieve equity in assignment-related outcomes. E

Minimum Qualifications
1. Possession of a master's degree; and
2. One year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrator's administrative assignment.
