Visiting Assistant Professor / Instructor - Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health
Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach undergraduate nutrition courses aligned with departmental needs, which may include courses such as Food, Nutrition & Health; Nutrition Across the Life Span; Community and Global Nutrition and Food Science. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, on-campus position that requires regular campus presence and active engagement with students and colleagues. The appointment is expected to begin in August 2026.
Minimum Qualifications
For the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in nutrition or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
For the rank of Instructor: Master’s degree in nutrition or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with credentialing as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration; experience teaching undergraduate nutrition courses at the college or university level; experience delivering courses in face-to-face and/or hybrid formats; and evidence of effective, student-centered teaching.
