Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting
The School of Business invites applications for a visiting assistant professor position in accounting to start August 2026. The ability to teach intermediate financial accounting is required. The ability to teach 300- and 400-level accounting classes is required. The ability to teach 500-level accounting courses is preferred.
This is a one-year non-tenure track position. There is potential for a future tenure track position, and the Visiting Assistant Professor would be eligible to apply.
Master's degree in a relevant field is required. CPA is preferred. DBA or PhD is preferred. Candidates can be currently enrolled in a doctoral program. Prior teaching experience and relevant work experience are also highly preferred. The successful applicant must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and to providing service to the School, University and/or Profession. The teaching load is four classes (12 credit hours) per semester.
