Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology
Wilkes University's Department of Biology and Earth Systems Sciences announced an opening for a one-year visiting assistant professor position for the 2026-27 academic year. Preferred candidates will have a PhD in animal behavior, evolution, or a related field with teaching experience in both introductory and advanced courses at the college level. The successful candidate will teach introductory biology courses and an upper-level course in the candidate's area of specialty. The candidate will have opportunities to mentor undergraduate students in research. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
