Teaching responsibilities may include courses in general biology, non-majors’ biology, and laboratory instruction.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a biological science discipline, demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, and have previous university-level teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in course design or responsibility for delivering all or part of a course is an asset.
• The ability to teach an upper-level course in one or more biological subdisciplines is an asset.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the University Community.
