Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for a Visiting Instructional Assistant Professor of Art (Foundations and Digital) to begin Fall 2026.
This is a full‑time, non‑tenure‑track, visiting instructional position (9‑month). The position carries a 4/4 teaching load with a primary focus on undergraduate instruction in Art Foundations and Digital Media. This is a one‑year visiting appointment, with duties centered on studio teaching and student engagement. The position requires regular, in‑person instruction and active participation in departmental activities. Primary duties will include teaching undergraduate studio courses including 3D Design (Foundations), Drawing I, and Digital Media courses (Digital Media I and II).
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold an earned MFA in Digital Media, Studio Art, or a closely related field by the start date. College‑level teaching experience required.
