UC?s Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is recruiting for a part-time (50% FTE) Visiting Scholar. Faculty at the University of Cincinnati are expected to teach, conduct research, scholarly and other professional or creative activities.
Essential Functions
- Conduct research visits according to current protocol.
- Shadow faculty during their clinic hours, screen and enroll interested study subjects.
- Participate in journal club, grand rounds and protocol staff meetings.
- Mentor undergraduate students who are volunteering with the research project.
Required Education
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
Required Experience
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research evidenced by peer reviews and publications. Candidates for a tenured appointment should demonstrate intellectual leadership and impact on the field and potential significant contributions to the department, University of Cincinnati, and wider scholarly community.
