The School of History, Philosophy and Digital Humanities is looking to recruit a fully-funded PhD candidate to work on women’s political engagement in West Africa from the end of the Second World War through decolonisation. This PhD is part of Dr. Sarah Frank’s UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship: ‘Rebuilding lives, redefining belonging: ex-soldiers, their families and communities in post-war Africa, 1945-60’.
