Gabby Kanizay is a trailblazing adventurer and communicator who serves as the Marketing Communications Manager at Academic Jobs. At just 19 years old, she became the youngest Australian to summit Mount Everest on May 14, 2022, breaking records and inspiring countless others with her tenacity and mental fortitude.
Prior to that, at 17, she was the youngest woman to summit Cho Oyu, the world's sixth-highest peak, and has conquered three peaks over 8,000 meters in total. These feats highlight her exceptional athleticism, discipline, and ability to thrive in high-stakes environments — qualities she channels into developing innovative marketing strategies and clear, engaging communications for the higher education sector.
A graduate of The Australian National University and a TEDx speaker, Gabby is also an accomplished triathlete and public speaker, known for her humble, fun-loving approach and passion for storytelling. Her experiences trekking to Everest Base Camp with her mother and sharing her journeys globally equip her to connect with diverse audiences, driving Academic Jobs' mission to empower academic professionals through targeted outreach and compelling narratives.
