In the first class, he told us he doesn't like repeating himself, which is kind of fair. But sometimes his words are not clear to us, and when someone asks a so-called "stupid question", he stares at you and would be really annoyed by it. Besides, not all of us are native English speakers, like myself, sometimes I just don't get what he is saying, but I am too afraid to ask for an explanation. I think he just takes everything for granted and expects everyone to be perfect, when something doesn't go as planned, he lashes out.
For assignments, he would give individual feedback to everyone, which is nice of him. However, he doesn't look through your work carefully, just a skim at best. There was a time when he commented about something I didn't do, but I actually did it and wrote it just a few lines below. Back to him not being clear, which can lead to confusion about assignments, and the comments are not so helpful, rather than giving you suggestions, he just insults you and make yourself look stupid to somehow show his authority. Once he wrote, "Is this the way you talk to people?", what is this supposed to mean? I mean you can easily say what's wrong with the sentence instead of questioning my English, which I don't have the privilege of having as my first language, and I spent years learning it to try to get better.

This was by far one of the most frustrating courses I’ve taken. The lectures often felt like the professor was simply talking at students rather than actually teaching or engaging with them. Questions were frequently left unanswered, and when responses were given, they were often unnecessarily convoluted and difficult to understand.
Communication was another major issue. Getting clear answers or clarification was extremely difficult, which made already confusing course material even harder to navigate. Assignments were often presented with messy, poorly organised questions and unclear expectations, leaving students to spend more time trying to decipher what was actually being asked than focusing on the material itself.
Overall, I found the teaching approach ineffective, the organisation poor, and the communication frustrating. A professor should make difficult material more understandable and create an environment where students can ask questions and receive useful guidance. Just because you don't give *obvious* advantages, it doesn't mean your biases don't affect your way of teaching. (Adding one, she once said that to a peer of mine while in the middle of a lecture. Disrespectful.)
In addition, she is not empathetic in the slightest. While I am not saying teachers should excuse and/or therapy the students; when one of your students is clearly emotional and/or chatted you through teams that they are going through a tough time (which is a selfless thing that, even when struggling, they are telling YOU about it so there is no miscommunication): You do not, and I repeat DO NOT, tell them to just "chill," "move on," and "relax" in the middle of lecture. You DO NOT pull up the chat for everyone in the lecture to see, even if there a drive/folder/video/project within it. You should act with basic human decency. All you had to do was download whatever it is that was important in the chat, and offer tissues to the weeping student. (And support (if it's classified as that) via inviting them to your office AFTER the lecture. We, as fellow students and peers, have no business in them dealing with their issues and then watching the Professor give, at best, mediocre advice.)
