In narrow subjects, AUS led the UAE in Architecture and the Built Environment, tied for first in Accounting and Finance, and earned new entries in Linguistics and Materials Science. Additional placements included second in Materials Sciences and Civil and Structural Engineering (tied), and third in Business and Management Studies and Economics and Econometrics.
