The 23rd Midwest International Economic Development Conference (MWIEDC) is a professional event focused on international economic development, inviting researchers to submit papers for presentation. It features keynote speaker Debraj Ray and is hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The conference will be held April 24-25, 2026, with sessions beginning at 8 am on April 24 and ending at lunch on April 25. Each presenter has a 30-minute slot, including 5-minute commentary and 5 minutes for audience questions, with no more than three sessions simultaneously. Papers on any topic related to international economic development are welcome, and abstracts without complete drafts will not be considered.
