The 23rd Midwest International Economic Development Conference (MWIEDC) is a professional event focused on international economic development, inviting researchers to submit papers for presentation. It features keynote speaker Debraj Ray and is hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The conference will be held April 24-25, 2026, with sessions beginning at 8 am on April 24 and ending at lunch on April 25. Each presenter has a 30-minute slot, including 5-minute commentary and 5 minutes for audience questions, with no more than three sessions simultaneously.
