About Stuart Kollmorgen

Stuart Kollmorgen
Lecturer, Law of Employment
Stuart Kollmorgen is an employment and workplace lawyer, lecturer and HR consultant based in Melbourne. He lectures in Law of Employment (LAW4132) at the Monash University Faculty of Law. From 2001 to 2016 he was a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, where he led the firm's Melbourne employment and labour practice and established its Global Mobility and Remuneration Solutions team. His practice focused on the people and culture side of workplace change: restructuring and redundancy, transfer of business, remuneration and benefits, and litigation management and advocacy for employer clients. He has since broadened into coaching, HR and organisational change. He holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organisational Analysis from King's College London and a Graduate Certificate in Business (Leadership through Coaching and Mentoring) from QUT, along with certificates in positive psychology and project management. Through his consultancy, Hire-Archi, he provides executive and leadership coaching, mentoring, workplace investigations, and HR policy and change consulting. His research interests include the nature of working relationships, employment law, labour economics, and positive psychology at work.
