About Monash University 

Monash University is a public research university based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Named after prominent World War I general Sir John Monash, it was founded in 1958 and is the second oldest university in the state.

Monash is a modern, global, research-intensive university, that delivers education and research excellence in Australia and across the Indo-Pacific.

Monash has eight non-residential colleges across our Caulfield, Clayton, Parkville and Peninsula campuses, with 250 members each. Each college has its own distinct culture, and we love getting together for events that bring the entire community together (and encourage some friendly rivalry).
