WORK AT BETHANY COLLEGE

Bethany College is a four-year private classical liberal arts college affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) located in the northern panhandle of West Virginia.

The College offers a wide array of studies, awarding Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in more than 25 fields of study, many with options for emphasis. The College’s program of liberal education prepares students for a lifetime of work and a life of significance.

Bethany’s 1,300-acre campus is located in the northern panhandle of West Virginia in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. Pittsburgh is 39 miles to the northeast. A half-hour drive from the College are Wheeling, West Virginia; Washington, Pennsylvania; and Steubenville, Ohio.

Assistant Professor of Psychology:

Bethany College has one opening for Assistant Professor of Psychology in Bethany, WV. Responsible for the following duties: Teach undergraduate students in Psychology; Revise and update courses regularly to reflect the most up-to-date understandings of Psychology; Research, write and publish articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Psychology; Serve on faculty committees; Advise undergraduate students; Mentor student research; and perform other academic duties as required. 

Requirements: Must have Ph.D. in Psychology, Human Development or related field, or be near completion of Ph.D. in Psychology, Human Development or related field.
