Weather and Climate at BUU

Burapha University, located in Chonburi, Thailand, experiences a tropical savanna climate with three main seasons: hot, rainy, and cool.

• Hot Season (March to June): Temperatures can range from 25°C to 35°C, with occasional peaks above 40°C. This period can be challenging for commuting and outdoor activities due to the heat.
• Rainy Season (June to October): Expect heavy rainfall, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 32°C. The campus life may be affected by occasional flooding, but it also brings cooler temperatures.
• Cool Season (November to February): The most comfortable time of the year, with temperatures between 20°C to 30°C. This season is ideal for outdoor research and campus activities.

The climate at BUU influences both the daily life on campus and the types of research that can be conducted, particularly in fields like agriculture and environmental science.
