Weather and Climate at CMU

The Colorado Mesa University campus in Grand Junction, Colorado, experiences a semi-arid climate with four distinct seasons. CMU students and staff enjoy:

• Fall: Cooler temperatures ranging from 40°F to 70°F, with beautiful fall foliage and less rainfall.
• Winter: Cold temperatures with averages between 20°F to 40°F, occasional snow, but generally mild compared to other parts of Colorado.
• Spring: Temperatures from 40°F to 70°F, with increasing rainfall and the potential for late snowstorms.
