Weather and Climate at ECUPL

Shanghai, where East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) is located, experiences a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons.

• Spring (March to May): Temperatures range from 10°C to 20°C, with increasing rainfall.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C and frequent rain, including typhoons.
• Autumn (September to November): Cooler, with temperatures dropping from 25°C to 15°C, and less rain.
• Winter (December to February): Cold, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C, and occasional snow.

The weather can affect commuting, especially during the rainy season, and outdoor research activities may be limited during the hot summer months. However, ECUPL provides adequate facilities to ensure campus life remains comfortable year-round.
