Weather and Climate at HUST

Hanoi University of Science & Technology (HUST) is located in Hanoi, Vietnam, which experiences a humid subtropical climate. The city has four distinct seasons:

• Spring (March to May): Warm and humid with temperatures ranging from 18°C to 28°C. This is a pleasant time for outdoor activities on campus.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid with temperatures often exceeding 35°C. High humidity can affect commuting and outdoor research.
• Autumn (September to November): Cooler and less humid with temperatures between 20°C to 30°C. Ideal for campus life and outdoor events.
• Winter (December to February): Cool to cold with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C. Occasional cold spells can impact daily life on campus.

Rainfall is significant, especially during the summer monsoon season, which can lead to flooding and affect commuting. Extreme weather conditions include occasional typhoons and heavy fog in winter.
