Academic Calendar and Important Dates for IUH

The academic year at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) is divided into two semesters:

• First Semester: Starts in September and ends in January.
• Second Semester: Starts in February and ends in June.
• Exam Periods: Typically held in December/January and May/June.
• Holidays: Include Tet (Lunar New Year), National Day, and other public holidays.
• Faculty Application Deadlines: Vary by department, but generally occur in the spring for the following academic year.
• Sabbatical Dates: Determined on an individual basis, typically aligned with the academic calendar.
