Weather and Climate at ICP

• Summer (June to August): Temperatures can reach 15°C to 25°C, with occasional heatwaves pushing temperatures above 30°C. Rainfall decreases, but thunderstorms can occur.
• Autumn (September to November): Temperatures fall from 20°C to 7°C. Rainfall increases, and the weather can be quite variable.

The climate at ICP affects commuting and campus life, with students and staff often needing to prepare for variable weather conditions. Outdoor research activities are more feasible in the spring and summer months.
