Academic Calendar and Important Dates for ITBA

The academic year at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) is divided into two semesters:

• First Semester: Begins in March and ends in July.
• Second Semester: Begins in August and ends in December.
• Exam Periods: Mid-term exams in May and November, final exams in July and December.
• Holidays: National holidays are observed, including Easter, Labor Day, and Independence Day.
• Faculty Application Deadlines: Typically in January for the first semester and June for the second semester.
• Sabbatical Dates: Sabbaticals can be taken at any time, subject to departmental approval.
