Academic Calendar and Important Dates for IULS

The academic year at Instituto Universitario del Lago y del Sol is divided into two semesters:

• First Semester: Starts in January, ends in June.
• Second Semester: Starts in August, ends in December.
• Exam Periods: Mid-term exams in March and September, final exams in June and December.
• Holidays: National holidays are observed, including Easter, Christmas, and New Year.
• Faculty Application Deadlines: Typically in May for the first semester and November for the second semester.
• Sabbatical Dates: Sabbaticals can be applied for at any time, but are typically scheduled during the summer months.
