Weather and Climate at IUJ

The International University of Japan (IUJ) is located in Niigata Prefecture, which experiences a humid continental climate with significant seasonal variations:

• Winter (December to February): Cold with heavy snowfall, temperatures range from -2°C to 5°C.
• Spring (March to May): Mild and pleasant, temperatures range from 5°C to 20°C.
• Summer (June to August): Warm and humid, temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C, with occasional typhoons.
