Weather and Climate at MCET

The Methodist College Engineering and Technology (MCET) is located in an area with a subtropical climate. The weather at MCET experiences:

• Summer (March to June): Temperatures range from 25°C to 45°C, with hot and humid conditions.
• Monsoon (July to September): Significant rainfall, with temperatures around 25°C to 35°C.
• Autumn (October to November): Cooler temperatures, ranging from 20°C to 30°C.
• Winter (December to February): Mild winters with temperatures between 10°C to 25°C.

Extreme weather conditions include occasional heatwaves and heavy monsoon rains, which can affect commuting and outdoor research activities at MCET.
