Weather and Climate at MUC

Minzu University of China (MUC) is located in Beijing, which experiences a continental monsoon climate. The city has four distinct seasons:

• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid, with temperatures between 20°C and 30°C, and heavy rainfall, especially in July and August.
• Autumn (September to November): Cool and dry, with temperatures dropping from 25°C to 5°C, and clear skies.
• Winter (December to February): Cold and dry, with temperatures ranging from -10°C to 5°C, and occasional snow.

The weather can impact commuting and campus life, with air quality being a concern in winter due to pollution. Outdoor research activities may be limited during extreme weather conditions.
