Weather and Climate at NJUST

Nanjing, where Nanjing University of Science and Technology is located, experiences a humid subtropical climate. The city has four distinct seasons:

• Spring (March to May): Temperatures range from 10°C to 25°C, with increasing rainfall.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C and frequent heavy rainfall.
• Autumn (September to November): Cooler temperatures from 15°C to 25°C, with less rainfall and comfortable weather.
• Winter (December to February): Cold, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C, occasional snow, and less humidity.

The weather can impact commuting due to heavy rain in summer, and campus life may see reduced outdoor activities in winter. However, NJUST's facilities are well-equipped to handle various weather conditions, ensuring minimal disruption to academic and research activities.
