Weather and Climate at NU

Naresuan University, located in Phitsanulok, Thailand, experiences a tropical savanna climate. The year-round climate can be divided into three seasons:

• Hot Season (March to May): Temperatures can reach up to 38°C (100°F), with low rainfall.
• Rainy Season (June to October): High humidity with significant rainfall, averaging 1,500 mm annually. Temperatures range from 25°C to 32°C (77°F to 90°F).
• Cool Season (November to February): The most comfortable period with temperatures between 18°C and 30°C (64°F to 86°F) and minimal rainfall.

The weather at NU affects commuting and campus life, with the rainy season potentially causing disruptions due to flooding. Outdoor research activities are more feasible during the cooler months.
