Weather and Climate at NBUT

Ningbo University of Technology, located in Ningbo, experiences a subtropical monsoon climate. The city has four distinct seasons:

• Spring (March to May): Mild and humid, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C and significant rainfall.
• Autumn (September to November): Cool and comfortable, with temperatures between 15°C to 25°C.
• Winter (December to February): Cold and damp, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C.

The weather can impact commuting and campus life, particularly during the rainy season, where students and staff may need to plan for wet conditions. Outdoor research activities are more feasible in the milder seasons of spring and autumn.
