Weather and Climate at PSARU

The climate at Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University is characterized by a tropical wet and dry climate. The university experiences three main seasons:

• Hot Season (March to June): Temperatures can reach up to 38°C (100°F), with average highs around 35°C (95°F). This period is generally dry with occasional thunderstorms.
• Rainy Season (July to October): This season sees significant rainfall, with monthly averages ranging from 100mm to 300mm. Temperatures remain high, averaging between 28°C to 32°C (82°F to 90°F).
• Cool Season (November to February): The coolest time of the year, with temperatures ranging from 18°C to 30°C (64°F to 86°F). This season is characterized by lower humidity and less rainfall.

Extreme weather conditions like heavy monsoon rains can affect commuting and outdoor research activities at PSARU. Campus life adapts to these conditions, with indoor activities and events planned during the rainy season.
