Academic Calendar and Important Dates for PSAU

The academic year at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is divided into two semesters:

• Fall Semester: Starts in late August, ends in mid-December.
• Spring Semester: Starts in late January, ends in mid-May.
• Exam Periods: Typically held in the last two weeks of each semester.
• Holidays: National holidays such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are observed.
• Faculty Application Deadlines: Vary by department, typically in early spring for the following academic year.
• Sabbatical Dates: Faculty can apply for sabbaticals, usually planned a year in advance.
