Weather and Climate at Senshu

Senshu University, located in Tokyo, experiences a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons. Here's a brief overview:

• Spring (March to May): Mild and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C. Cherry blossoms bloom in late March to early April.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C. The rainy season, known as tsuyu, occurs in June and July.
• Autumn (September to November): Cool and comfortable, with temperatures dropping from 25°C to 15°C. Autumn foliage is a highlight.
• Winter (December to February): Cold but not severe, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C. Snowfall is rare but possible.

The climate at Senshu can affect commuting, especially during the rainy season and typhoon season in late summer. Campus life and outdoor research activities are more enjoyable in spring and autumn.
