Weather and Climate at SNU

Somali National University (SNU) is located in Mogadishu, Somalia, which experiences a hot and arid climate. The city has two main seasons:

• Dry Season: From December to February, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C. This period is characterized by low humidity and minimal rainfall.
• Wet Season: From April to June and again from October to November, with temperatures similar to the dry season but with increased humidity and rainfall. The wet season can bring heavy rains, which may affect commuting and outdoor activities on campus.
