Weather and Climate at SJU

St. Joseph's University, located in Philadelphia, experiences a humid subtropical climate. The city has four distinct seasons:

• Winter: December to February, with average temperatures ranging from 20°F to 40°F (-6°C to 4°C). Snowfall is common, affecting commuting and campus life.
• Spring: March to May, temperatures rise from 40°F to 70°F (4°C to 21°C). Rainfall increases, which can impact outdoor research activities.
