Weather and Climate at WISE

The World Islamic Sciences & Education University, located in Amman, Jordan, experiences a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters.

• Summer (June to August): Temperatures range from 25°C to 35°C, with very little rainfall.
• Winter (December to February): Temperatures can drop to 5°C to 15°C, with occasional rainfall and rare snowfall.
• Spring and Autumn: These seasons are mild, with temperatures between 15°C to 25°C, and are considered the best times for outdoor activities.
• Extreme weather conditions like sandstorms can occur, affecting commuting and outdoor research.
