Weather and Climate at TUMM

Tokyo University of Mercantile Marine, located in Tokyo, experiences a humid subtropical climate. The city has distinct seasons:

• Spring (March to May): Mild and pleasant with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C. Cherry blossoms bloom in late March to early April.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid with temperatures often exceeding 30°C. The rainy season occurs in June and July.
• Autumn (September to November): Cool and comfortable with temperatures between 15°C to 25°C. Autumn foliage is a highlight.
• Winter (December to February): Cold with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C. Snowfall is rare but possible.
