Weather and Climate at U de M

Universidad de Managua (U de M) is located in Managua, Nicaragua, which experiences a tropical wet and dry climate. The city has two main seasons:

• Dry Season (November to April): Temperatures range from 25°C to 35°C. This period is characterized by low humidity and minimal rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities and commuting.
• Wet Season (May to October): Temperatures are similar to the dry season, but with increased humidity and frequent rainfall. Monthly rainfall can exceed 300mm, which may affect commuting and outdoor research activities.

Extreme weather conditions include occasional hurricanes and tropical storms during the wet season, which can disrupt campus life and research.
