Weather and Climate at UCSP

The climate at Universidade Cidade de São Paulo (UCSP) is characterized by a tropical savanna climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. The city of São Paulo experiences:

• Temperature: Average highs range from 22°C (72°F) in winter to 28°C (82°F) in summer, with lows around 14°C (57°F) in winter and 20°C (68°F) in summer.
• Rainfall: The wet season lasts from October to March, with December and January being the wettest months, receiving up to 250mm of rain per month.
• Extreme Weather: Occasional heavy rain can lead to flooding, impacting commuting and campus life. The dry season from April to September is generally more comfortable for outdoor activities and research.
