The Universidade Estadual do Piauí (UESPI)

is located in Teresina, which experiences a tropical savanna climate. The city has two distinct seasons:

• Wet Season (November to April): Characterized by high humidity and heavy rainfall, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 32°C.
• Dry Season (May to October): Marked by lower humidity and less rainfall, with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 35°C.

Extreme weather conditions include occasional flooding during the wet season, which can affect commuting and campus life. The climate supports outdoor research activities during the dry season, but precautions are necessary during the wet season.
