Weather and Climate at UNIKIN

Université de Kinshasa (UNIKIN) is located in Kinshasa, which experiences a tropical wet and dry climate. The city has two main seasons:

• Dry Season: From May to September, with cooler temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C.
• Wet Season: From October to April, characterized by high humidity and heavy rainfall, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C.

The weather can impact commuting and campus life, especially during the wet season when heavy rains can cause flooding and disrupt transportation. Outdoor research activities may be more feasible during the dry season.
