Weather and Climate at UPN Veteran Jatim

Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (Veteran) East Java, located in Surabaya, experiences a tropical monsoon climate. The city has two main seasons:

• Wet Season (November to April): Characterized by high humidity and heavy rainfall, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 32°C.
• Dry Season (May to October): Marked by lower humidity and less rainfall, with temperatures typically between 23°C to 33°C.

The climate can affect commuting and campus life, particularly during the wet season when heavy rains may lead to flooding and traffic congestion. Outdoor research activities are more feasible during the dry season.
