Weather and Climate at UC

The University of Canberra experiences a temperate climate with distinct seasons. UC is located in Canberra, which has:

• Summer (December to February): Average temperatures range from 13°C to 28°C, with occasional heatwaves above 35°C.
• Autumn (March to May): Temperatures cool down from 10°C to 23°C, with less rainfall.
• Winter (June to August): Coldest period with temperatures between 0°C and 12°C, occasional frost and light snow in higher areas.
• Spring (September to November): Warming up from 6°C to 20°C, with increasing rainfall.
