Weather and Climate at UoE

The University of Eldoret experiences a subtropical highland climate. The weather is generally mild throughout the year with:

• Temperature ranges: Average highs of 24°C (75°F) and lows of 10°C (50°F).
• Rainfall: Two rainy seasons, from March to May and from October to December, with annual precipitation around 1,200 mm.
• Extreme weather conditions: Occasional heavy rains can lead to flooding, affecting commuting and campus life.
