Weather and Climate at UofK

The University of Kordofan (UofK) is located in El-Obeid, Sudan, which experiences a hot semi-arid climate. The region has two main seasons:

• Dry Season (November to April) - Temperatures can range from 20°C to 40°C, with very little rainfall.
• Wet Season (May to October) - This period sees higher humidity and temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C, with significant rainfall, especially from June to September.

Extreme weather conditions include occasional dust storms during the dry season. The climate can affect commuting and outdoor activities, with the wet season potentially causing disruptions due to heavy rains.
