Weather and Climate at UoM

The University of Mianwali, located in the Punjab province of Pakistan, experiences a semi-arid climate. The weather at UoM can be described as follows:

• Summer (April to September): Temperatures range from 30°C to 45°C. The region experiences hot and dry weather with occasional dust storms.
• Winter (October to March): Temperatures can drop to 5°C to 20°C. Winters are mild with occasional cold waves.
• Rainfall: The area receives minimal rainfall, with most precipitation occurring during the monsoon season from July to September.
• Extreme Weather: Heatwaves in summer and cold waves in winter can affect commuting and outdoor activities. Students and staff at UoM need to be prepared for these conditions.
